Party for the Planet! The Climate Calendar 2022

It’s time to step out of your comfort zone and into shoes that leave smaller footprints. The year 2022 is the year to celebrate the environment! Traditional holidays and celebrations aren’t the only reasons to throw parties or commemorations. It turns out that every day of the year has potential for celebration because every single day celebrates the National or Global Day of… Something!

CarbonCurb’s mission is to aid you in reducing your carbon footprint by making simple lifestyle adjustments. Do you know what we think would be a really fun and encouraging way to achieve this green feat? By PARTYING! One way you can do this is by joining CarbonCurb during our Earth Day 4/22/22 Kickstarter campaign, to help us crowdfund the development of our personal footprint calculator and the publishing of our book, How to Be a Climate Warrior.

There are so many reasons to throw a party for your planet! Luckily, there are specific days and weeks of the year that aim to shed light on climate change, emissions, sustainability, conservation, and efficiency.

When you celebrate climate holidays, you are…

  • spreading environmental awareness.

  • living in alignment with your values.

  • taking actionable steps to lower your environmental impact.

  • increasing your education on topics you care about.

  • forming healthy habits that will lead to a healthier lifestyle for all.

  • protecting Earth and its inhabitants.

What’s not to love about the Climate Calendar? We’ve collected a list of environment-focused holidays for every month of the year. All you have to do is mark your calendar, and in some cases - toss on a pair of bike shorts… You’ll see what we mean.
